Glow in the Dark Book

 (source)

Sawa Tanaka has come up with an amazing concept for this book about nocturnal animals!

If more books glowed in the dark, there would be less need for reading lights. Someone should get on that.

The Exquisite Book

The Exquisite Book is collaboration between 100 artists and is based on the game Exquisite corpse (I remember playing a variation of this game in my English class in junior high). With each artist contributing one page, the books is divided into 10 chapters. Each page is connected by a shared horizon line. Collaborators only have the page preceding their own to reference to.

Watch the video below for a better explanation:

Book for Your MacBook

BookBook"BookBook is a one-of-a-kind, hardback leather case designed exclusively for MacBook and MacBook Pro. Available in Classic Black or Vibrant Red, BookBook brings three levels of security to your prized Mac. First, the hardback cover and spine provide solid protection from the rigors of the road. Second, the vintage book design disguises MacBook for superior security. And third, the stylish case protects you from being like everyone else because BookBook is totally original, just like you."

I have one in red for my MacBook Pro. Love it! It even smells like a book.

More Book Covers

The Book Cover Archive is--you guessed it--a website dedicated to archiving book cover designs.

On a related note, check out this article about the 50 Most Captivating Covers of All Time and this article titled 45 Beautifully Designed Book Covers.

I have always been partial of the cover of The Catcher in the Rye (Salinger's other works also have the same design).
